A True Story Of Courage, and Strength

Nasheyah of Buffalo, NY

Domestic Violence is something I will never tolerate, and a friend of mine on Facebook has been a true inspiration for many. She herself was abused for 18 years, feeling like a prisoner in her own home, and scared to let the truth be known, she hid the abuse from everyone, not ever calling 911 in fear something else might happen, something much worse.  She has 5 beautiful children, who have been her strength through these extremely tough and emotional 18 years. She has since broke her silence after almost 2 decades of abuse, and is finally speaking out on Domestic Violence. You can watch a very emotional video after the jump. If you, or someone you know is in a similar situation, please reach out for help. Don't be scared of what might happen. You may not get a chance to tell your story like this beautiful woman has.

  1. I'll tell ya what- people need to realize the depths of physical violence, manipulation, neglect, humiliation and entitlement that hovers over 1 in 4 women. Women tend to have more hopes and belief in their husbands- and the good nature of moms is to hope- this hope gets used against us, at every turn all because men are physically stronger- so intimidation trumps and the law denies...
