I must get at least 20 emails a week asking how my relationship has lasted without any problems. No relationship is perfect, and we are human, so with that being said we both make mistakes. What makes our relationship different from most, is that we both realize that. We take the good and learn from the bad. I can't say what we have is perfect by the "general standards" of a "relationship expert" - however, I believe it's perfect for us. If you'd like to know how we work through our problems, and really understand our love, I've come up with 10 of the most eye opening things we've experienced in our relationship.
1. They Look Into Your Eyes When You Talk
This sign is all about the body language. If they look into your eyes when you talk, you know they paying full attention to you. Obviously, this is not always practical for every conversation, especially if you are driving somewhere. However, whenever you really want to have a heart to heart discussion, they give you their full attention, by turning his/her body towards you, and watching the expression on your face. This is a sign they want to know what you are really thinking.2. They Want To Know About You
If your boyfriend/girlfriend asks about your past, your dreams, your desires (not just sexual), your wants, your needs, how you feel inspired, what you love, or anything about you that relates to your thoughts intimately as an individual, you can be very sure that they want what is best for you. This is a very good indication that he/she loves you.3. They Give You Cuddles and Caresses
While touch is more important to some people than others, casual touches that are not necessarily sexual in nature are definitely signs they are letting you know that he/she loves you. If they want to hold your hand when you walk anywhere together, you can be sure he/she is saying with their body language that they want to be with you.4. They Can Comfort You When You Have a Bad Day
This is one of the most important indicators of a relationship that will stand the test of time. If you feel you can automatically turn to them when 'times are tuff', and he/she is able to give you comfort and help you to feel better, not worse, you have someone who really loves you. If they get uncomfortable when you are upset, or doesn't know what will comfort you, they are not really putting you first in the relationship. If he/she at least tries to comfort you, there is hope for the future.5. They Give You the Best Presents
Presents do not have to be expensive to be heartfelt. A present can be as simple as an email, a homemade card, or a wildflower picked from the roadside. The essence of this sign is that whenever they do give you a present, whether it is for a special event such as a birthday, or if it is just an off the cuff small gift, it is a gift that means something to you personally. They show they care about you by the depth of thought that goes into what you will like and he/she delights in giving you gifts that you just love.6. They Make You Feel Special

Meeting friends is about wanting to be a part of each other's lives. If they want to meet your friends, and spends time getting to know the people who are important in your life, They really do love you. If he/she enjoys being with your friends, and makes you feel comfortable and a part of the group when you are with his/her friends, you can be sure they want to be in your life for a long time.8. They Make You Laugh and Enjoy Life
You actually look forward to spending time with him or her, because you know you will have fun. Being able to laugh together and have fun is part of every good relationship. If they cannot share the joy of life with you easily, They won't be able to cope with the hard times that will inevitably come your way too. Even in the difficult times, they somehow can make you smile, through your tears. This is because he or she loves you and wants you to be happy. They get a joy from seeing the excitement and pleasure in your expression, so he or she works to make you laugh.9. They Love Spending Time with You
They treat you as his or her best friend. They can be quite happy spending time with just the two of you, and doesn't have to have a million other people around all the time. They make excuses to see you, and just thoroughly enjoys being around you. He or she tells you his or her own thoughts, dreams, and is able to share ideas with you comfortably. They also turn to you when they are sad, or needs comfort too.10. They Say They Love You
Okay, it can be very easy to say those three words "I love you", but if they say it when you are not expecting it, or if they say it first, They want to tell you that they really care about you. If he or she only says I love you when they want to be physically intimate with you, or if you always say it first, and they only say it in reply, because that is what you expect, They may not really care deeply. They may not even need to say the words, because he or she knows you know how they feel about you, but just has to say it anyway.If you see evidence of these ten signs in your relationship, and you know the signs are done without purpose or gain, your relationship is built on the foundation of true love. You can be sure of your relationship when they truly want to please you, and honestly shows that they enjoy being with you in many ways.
