New alternate #Supernova album cover #LeftEye @TLCARMY

For all the TLC fans, this cover may be new to you. I was using the Internet Archive website to look at Eyenetics. Sadly, because the website is flash based, the only thing that would show up was the pictures, and the main "enter" page - However, I found a Japanese radio website via the same "Archive" app, and found this. I remember vividly (however, forgot about until I seen this) that on the Eyenetics website, you could stream the whole Supernova album before it was released, and this is the cover that was attached to the media player. No word if this was just something Lisa made for fun while paying around on her "Business Graphic Computer" in her home, or if this was the original cover she had intended to use for the album. In my opinion, this one is 100x better than the one we have. It's more, bright, fun, and more.. Lisa! I'm trying to find the HQ picture used for the cover, so I can do my best to "re-create" the cover. I looked everywhere to try and find the actual cover above in better quality, but every link went to that one.

*EDIT*
I finally found the HQ version of that photo shoot picture, and the font used as well.. I layered the two together, did my best to smooth out some of the compression on the first one, and played around with the colors a bit too. This should SO be used for the Deluxe edition of Supernova! (just throwing that out there)

@BozBizz @OfficialLeftEye @OfficialChilli #TLCMOVIE with @VH1

VH1 may be known for reality television, but the network just announced plans to develop a scripted film that we can’t wait to see. The film, the first in a series of music bio-pics, will be based on the evolution of influential female hip hop musicians TLC. It will be penned by screenwriter Kate Lanier.
Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Chilli have both signed on to consult and produce the film. “I always felt our story had to be told,” Chilli says in the press release for the film, below. And it’s quite a story. Read on for more details about the project.

VH1 IS SCRIPTING THEIR FUTURE WITH A SERIES OF MUSIC-FOCUSED BIO-PICS The First Feature In The Series Will Focus on
The Legendary R&B/Hip-Hop/Pop Group TLC
Acclaimed Writer Kate Lanier Signs On To Ink The Script

LOS ANGELES, CA – December 01, 2011 – Building off the success of the scripted movie “Single Ladies” and its follow-up hit series, VH1 is getting into the TV movie business with a series of scripted bio-pics featuring musicians and pop culture icons. The dramatic story behind the legendary ’90s R&B/hip-hop/pop trio TLC will be featured in the first TV movie for VH1 in this series. The two surviving members of the group, Chilli and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, have signed on as consultants and executive producers for the movie. Acclaimed screenwriter Kate Lanier (“What’s Love Got To Do With It” and “Beauty Shop) has signed on to pen the bio-pic.
The gifted trio TLC, which was comprised of Chilli, Watkins and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, achieved instant commercial success with their first album, Ooooooohhh… On The TLC Tip in 1991 which sold over 6 million copies worldwide and spawned numerous Top Ten singles. But it was the release of their second album; CrazySexyCool in 1994 that elevated them to superstar status, that album sold over 22 million albums worldwide to date and propelled TLC to become the most successful female group in history. They went on to record Fanmail selling over 10 million albums and 8 Grammy nominations before Lopes’ untimely death in 2002.
Unfortunately, fame and success are often shadowed by pain and heartache and TLC certainly experienced their share. Tionne suffered from sickle-cell disease, Lisa accidentally burned down her then-boyfriend and football star Andre Rison’s home in a moment of heated passion. The trio also suffered a very humiliating and public bankruptcy suit at the very height of their career success. This prompted them to hold a press conference about the ins and outs of accounting in the record industry to let the public know how this could happen to multiplatinum, Grammy-winning superstars when everyone assumed they must be extremely wealthy.
In the midst of what the ladies were experiencing as individuals, a public dispute between Lisa and her group-mates Tionne and Rozonda arose when she felt she had been all but cut out of their third album, FanMail. Fortunately, the ladies had patched things up and were working on their fourth album, 3D, when tragedy struck and Lisa was killed in a car accident while on a spiritual retreat down in Honduras. In a tribute to Lisa, TLC gave one final concert in June of 2003 at the Zootopia concert in New York’s Giants Stadium where Tionne and Chilli performed on stage to 60,000 fans in front of a video screen playing videos of Lisa performing the same songs right along with them.
Kate Lanier who has penned numerous scripts featuring female protagonists including the hits “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” “Beauty Shop,” and “Set It Off,” will write the script for VH1.
“With the tremendous success of our scripted series ‘Single Ladies,’ we now know that viewers will come to VH1 for quality scripted projects. We’re eager to expand on that success with this bio-pic franchise that will allow us to explore our music, pop culture, and authentic storytelling strengths in yet another format,” said Jeff Olde, EVP Original Programming & Production, VH1. “We’re honored to collaborate with Chilli, Tionne and Bill Diggins in sharing their own personal story and TLC’s record-breaking legacy with VH1 viewers.”
“The reality of this brings me to tears because I am seeing one of my dreams come to life. I always felt our story had to be told. What makes it even more amazing is having Kate Lanier on board. I remember watching ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ with Lisa, and I knew then whoever wrote that story had to write ours. I will forever be thankful to Jeff Olde for believing in our story and going the extra mile to make it happen,” said Chilli.
“I’m just overjoyed. I appreciate Jeff Olde and everyone on staff at VH1 that took interest in us, thank you. Kate Lanier is amazing. I’m honored to work with her I love her art. Well here we go on another TLC ride and I can’t wait. Like Biggie said ‘Now if ya don’t know, now ya knowwwww,’” stated Tionne.
Executive producing the TLC bio-pic are Bill Diggins and Maggie Malina. Chilli and Tionne Watkins will also serve as executive producers for the movie. Executive producing for VH1 are Jeff Olde and Jill Holmes.

If @BozBizz and @OfficialChilli DO release another album, what would you want to see?

http://poll.fm/39952
Now, with everyone answering the other poll we had posted, we have another question for you TLC fans out there. Read the topic and questions, and vote for what you'd like to see and hear if the girls were to release another album in the future.

Should #TLC continue as @BozBizz and @OfficialChilli and get back out there?

TLC took over the music world in 1992 with their debut album "Ooohh.. On The TLC Tip" and continue to pave the way for artists in todays music industry. They have influenced millions around the world and sang about serious topics that lead to their success as a girl group. Unlike other girl groups, they never replaced a member, and it's been said over and over again that TLC is not just a group, it's a family. When the group lost one of their sisters, they vowed to continue to keep Lisa's name and legacy alive. They produced yet another album 3D in honor and memory of Left-Eye but has since been on a almost 10 year hiatus. The girls have made the abbreviation 'TLC' much more than Tender Loving Care, and with the TLC name becoming more and more relevant with today's generation, the question has come about whether or not to continue as TLC.

Help share your opinion with this poll!

#TLCArmy - Please Support #BestVideoOfAllTime #TLCWaterfalls

We did it with the Best Video Of The 90's (beating out Madonna) and now we have another poll to conquer. With such an amazing message behind the song, it's hard not to vote for this video. Not to mention, at that time, other than Michael Jackson (featuring Janet Jackson) it was the first video to break the $1,000,000 mark. TLC has the best fans in the world, and when we are called to help, we come together as a family. Lets get yet another win for our girls, and keep the TLC Legacy alive. Chasing Waterfalls: The Legacy of Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes

Trevor Nelson pays tribute to and explores the remarkable life of RnB star Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes of TLC, who tragically died in 2002. Celebrating the life of Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes on what would have been her 40th birthday, Trevor Nelson pays tribute to the TLC star who tragically died in 2002.
Lisa was prolific in her short career, releasing three platinum-selling albums and winning countless awards. But the road to stardom was anything but smooth for the young Philadelphia-bred Lisa Nicole Lopes, who faced an abusive father, bankruptcy, alcoholism and prison time for committing arson. And yet she went on to become a vital member of the group who released groundbreaking tracks such as Waterfalls, No Scrubs and Unpretty. Back in the early nineties, TLC set the tone for a new kind of girl group, crashing onto the music scene with their explicit attitude towards safe sex and female prerogative. Now in their 20th year as a group, Trevor speaks to the remaining members of TLC, T-Boz and Chilli, as well as the likes of Alesha Dixon, Melanie C and Wretch 32 - all of whom felt the Supanova effect that Lisa had on their lives.

What Nathan Suggests: Music You Must Have

I would like to suggest an album that some people may have over-looked for what ever reason. Lisa Left-Eye Lopes : Supernova. Every song on that CD has a positive, upbeat, fun sound, that allows you into the world of Left-Eye. The CD was never officially released in the states before Lisa passed, but isn't that hard to find online, or even at your local record store. Supernova has 13 songs (some had 14) that can make you dance, laugh, and cry. With songs like "Block Party" "Hot" and "Jenny" you will find youself getting up to dance and have a good time. "Let Me Live" "Rags 2 Riches" and "A New Star Is Born" will allow you to get inside Lisa's world and learn more about her. "Head To The Sky" and "Uneversial Quest" will get you into your spiritual side. Every song is a MUST hear in my opinion, and you can get your copy by clicking the image below!
