In Other News.. @LindsayLohan

I've said it once, I'll say it again. I honestly am rooting for Lindsay. You all know this blog is not about bashing anyone, or putting a negative light on any specific group of people. HOWEVER - You can only root for someone so many times after they continue to let you down. Regardless, I will continue to be in Miss. Lohan's corner. If anything, that's what she honestly needs. I will not make excuses for her, because she is dealing with the aftermath of the problems she has personally created for herself. I just don't know how much more she can do (with her self-destruction) before she realizes she is ruining every possible chance of a "comeback" - Lindsay, if you're reading this, or if your team is reading this, Keep your head up, and continue to learn from this experience. You have two options. You learn and grow from this, or you continue in the path you've been on. I wish you well.

Keep It Up!

Lindsay Lohan has really proved herself in my opinion. It's not easy to overcome any form of addiction, and she is taking all the right steps in showing she is ready to better herself. She has done everything in her power the past few weeks to prove herself to not only the media, but to her family and fans. I can't imagine how hard it must be to see every move you make on the cover of every magazine, and having your name exploited on every TV show. You never hear people talking about the progress she is making, and that is such a disappointment. We say let her go see her family for the Holidays, or at most, let them come to her. I may not agree with the things her parents have done as far as running to the media, when in reality they should be working on making their situation better for when she returns home, and back to work. Lindsay is one heck of a woman, showing each and everyday she has the strength to turn everything around her into positive aspects. I give her all the credit in the world! Keep up the good work Lindsay!

TGITEOTM

So today marks the last day of september! Welcome the new acronate TGITEOTM (thank god it's the end of the month) I'm welcoming in October with open arms with hopes of a good work month. Anyways, onto Celebrity News. Lindsay Lohan's brother decided to join the rest of the family and open his mouth to the media. After all, that is his sister (and he is a Lohan) saying

"I think that in the past, her vision had been blurred. People she was surrounded by – enablers, leeches, whatever you'd like to call it – made things very difficult. It's quite strenuous to right your wrongs when the people around you help justify your actions. Therefore, cloudy judgment made it easy for her to neglect those trying to guide her. People with addictive tendencies do not get better overnight, so that cannot be expected. However, her commitment to her current recovery is a side effect of the realization of her past mishaps. She is well-aware that she's at a crossroad in life, and is fully committed to ensuring a healthier future. She has made conscious efforts to improve her lifestyle behaviors and to treat this process with great care. In order to continue her healing process, she's willing to take whatever steps necessary. We – her mother, brothers, and sister – have been there for Lindsay every step of the way – despite what trashy news reports – and will continue to give her our support and strength during these arduous times."

I have to agree. She checked herself into rehab, and I have hopes this time she can pull herself around. I'm so tired, so I'm sure I'll write more tomorrow. Hope everyone had a good Thursday!

What Nathan Seriously Thinks

So there was a picture going around today of some socialite with a needle going into her arm, and I'd like to think she just has a case of the shakes. I seriously KNOW this girl just needs a friend. Someone to tell her she has support, and not because they will be featured on next weeks issue of Us Weekly. I know for a fact she will not get better until she is ready, but until she is ready, it's a waste of time - FOR THE MEDIA - when the hell is her family going to step in, and stop selling the "story" to the media, and talk to their daughter. Seriously? Have we lost reality on reality itself? You have a beautiful talented daughter in need. Can we stop cashing in, and just - give her a hug? Tell her you'll be there for her? Tell her she can fight anything that comes her way, because YOU raised her better than that? Someone to just simply say "I Love You" -- Not that this is going anywhere, but Miss Love, I'm holding a hand out to you, in hopes I can help. I know you have the strength to get through this. You are better than that. I miss you. You're SO much stronger than you know, and it's ok to cry on my shoulder. I lovers ya!
THIS CAN BE FIXED WITH ONE GENUINE HUG

What Nathan Thinks about Lindsay Lohan

Jail for her is going to do nothing. Jail as a whole really does nothing for someone who is addicted to drugs. It's good for those who are a danger for other people or other lives, but she isn't hurting anyone but herself. What she needs is the "want" to do better. We all root for her, and wish her well, but until that day comes, we can only hope she gets herself better. When she is ready, what she needs to do is go to rehab, outside of California. Someplace where she wont deal with the paparazzi when she leaves, or gets there. A place where she can be a normal girl, with no special treatments because she is a celebrity. She has to want to get and stay clean first. Without that, all the jail time and rehab time will be a waste of time, and a tabloid filler. How ever long it takes her, we'll be there to support her. Wish you the best Lindsay!
